Ice Industries Joins SEIA to Continue Supporting Solar Energy Production

SYLVANIA, Ohio – May 11, 2023 – Reinforcing its commitment to supporting alternative/green energy, Ice Industries announced its membership in the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).

With Ice’s recent opening of its new Bowling Green, Ohio facility dedicated to supplying balance of systems components for photovoltaic module installations, Ice Industries is supporting the SEIA goal for solar to achieve greatly increased U.S. electricity generation over the next five to ten years. The new plant’s high-speed, precision production lines help meet the considerable demand from small and large-scale solar installations domestically.

“SEIA is a natural fit for Ice, and we’re pleased to become a member in support of our common objective,” stated Howard Ice, Chairman and CEO of Ice Industries. “Alternative energy is a rapidly expanding market that greatly benefits both the consumer and the environment, and Ice is pleased to be a part of it.”

The benefits of solar are exhibited in multiple ways: environmental, economic, employment opportunities, and energy independence. Ice Industries’ partnership with SEIA and its new facility will support these objectives for years to come.
