Ice Industries Secures Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

SYLVANIA, Ohio – March 25, 2020 – Ice Industries has announced their certification as an SDVOB (Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Business), by the non-profit NVBDC (National Veteran Business Development Council). This designation allows both potential and current customers to more easily document their required supplier diversity purchases.

Ice Industries, founded in 1999, has grown to five locations throughout North America’s central business corridor. Specializing in deep draw metal stamping, welding, and assembly; the company now serves a diverse group of markets, including:

  • air tanks;
  • alternative energy;
  • appliance;
  • automotive;
  • commercial truck;
  • filtration;
  • fire and safety;
  • furniture;
  • government/military; and,
  • HVACR.

The company is led by its founder, CEO, and proud Army veteran: Howard Ice. "This SDVOB certification allows our customers to more easily document supplier diversity content when pursuing and fulfilling government, military, and OE contracts,” summarized Mr. Ice.

“Although Ice has been previously certified by the SBA process, this NVBDC certification – despite being as rigorous in its diligence – is a more streamlined process;  one which is accepted widely and sponsored by major Fortune 500 companies looking to augment their minority content,” stated Paul Bishop, Ice Industries’ President and COO. “Sourcing Ice, allows businesses to obtain the maximum advantage of Ice Industries’ broad metal stamping and welding capabilities, and  program management expertise.”
