Ice Industries Features Air Tank Manufacturing Capacity/Capabilities at Mid-America Trucking Show

SYLVANIA, Ohio – March 31, 2011 – Reflecting the increased demand for air tanks and pressure vessels – particularly within the heavy truck market – Ice Industries exhibited both their increased capacity and comprehensive production capabilities at the 2011 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS). Open from March 31 through April 2, 2011, the event offers manufacturers and aftermarket distributors the opportunity to see and hear first-hand the advantages Ice provides their customers.

For years a major supplier of heavy-duty, stamped and welded parts to the commercial vehicle and off-highway markets, Ice in 2009 committed to bringing that same expertise to air tanks and other pressure vessels in steel and aluminum. Multiple new production lines were created, allowing manufacturers maximum flexibility in processes. Tanks for air, liquid, or fuel can optionally include check valves, multiple chambers, baffles, bushings, etc. These can also be augmented with brackets fabricated in-house, and welded onto tank heads or bodies. After fabrication, automated, code-compliant powder coating is available, along with interior and exterior paint processes.

Quality is assured, as all manufactured tanks meet ASME U, ASME UM, SAE J10, FMVSS, or CE specifications. Parts are 100% leak tested in-house with audit burst testing capabilities, and meet DOT regulations.

"As demand in the automotive and truck markets has shot up this year, Ice's proactive planning process has eliminated supply headaches for our customers," stated Paul Bishop, Ice Industries' President. "Both new and long-term customers appreciate the peace of mind of knowing that we'll remain as an accomplished partner for them."

Be certain to stop by Booth 62184 in the Kentucky Expo Center West Wing to meet with Ice Industries' experts, and to learn more about the advantages such a strong production partner can provide to you.
