Director of Business Development

Bob is responsible for developing new business opportunities for Ice Industries.  He has had a well rounded career in the manufacturing industry.  The first four years of his career were spent building tooling for the foundry industry.  Following that, Bob became a project engineer in the plastic industry.  During his tenure in the plastic industry, Bob progressed through many roles, including eight years as manager of the engineering department.  He then proceeded into a position for the company in a sales and marketing role, where he later became Director of Marketing for the Powertrain Group, which included numerous business and facilities throughout the world.  Bob also had additional responsibilities that included the coordination of global market development activities for Illinois Tool Works - including the North American, European, and Asian markets.

Bob has been very active in developing new markets, new products and pursuing new business opportunities for over 15 years.  Bob’s diverse background, his mechanical engineering education, and his years of experience in tool building, manufacturing engineering and project engineering allow him to be very adept at anticipating the technical and project management needs of our customers. 

Bob graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwest State, having earned Highest Honors and graduating number two in his class.  Bob enjoys competing in golf and racquetball, and also enjoys watching his three children - college and high school aged - compete in their respective
sporting events.
