Expansion of Ice Industries’ Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Capabilities in Grenada, MS Location Completed

New automated tank assembly lines and the installation of an automated powdercoat line by Ice Industries increases original equipment manufacturers’ options for ASME, DOT SAE J10 / FMVSS 121 air tank supply.

GRENADA, Mississippi – June 21, 2011 – As demand in the market increases, heavy truck and compressor orginal equipment manufacturers must decide on an ASME Certified and DOT supplier for air tanks and other pressure vessels, secure in the knowledge that they have the expertise, capabilities, and capacity to meet increasing demands as the markets recover.   • Multiple tank welding and assembly lines;
  • High pressure leak and burst testing equipment;
  • Laser cutting;
  • CNC Bending;
  • End caps re-form, pierce equipment; and,
  • Ancillary equipment including expansion of Ice's already robust welding and packaging capabilities.

Coming on the heels of Ice Industries' recent award of ASME Section VIII Division 1 UG-90(c)(2) Certification to Mass Produce Pressure Vessels – a certification held by only 23 manufacturers worldwide – these acquisitions further cement the Company's premier pressure vessel production status.
