Ice Industries furthered its goal of meeting the increasing global demand for stamped products by acquiring Ronfeldt Associates' facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This 60,000 square foot facility, renamed Ice Industries Mexico, has expanded Ice's reach as a supplier of high quality, cost-competitive products to an ever-widening base of industrial clients.

Ice Industries Mexico serves the large commercial compressor, scroll compressor and fire extinguisher pressure vessel markets. Consistent supply is guaranteed, as duplicate equipment and processes are used within multiple Ice facilities.

History

The Ice Industries Mexico facility (formerly a Ronfeldt Associates operation) was a green field plant which first started production in 2005. The impetus of this facility was to serve the HVACR market with large compressor shell production. The acquisition of the assets of Ronfeldt Associates by an
affiliate of Ice Industries (Ronfeldt Manufacturing, LLC) was completed on
February 29, 2008.

Consistent with Ice Industries’ diversification strategy, the capabilities of the Ice Industries Mexico facility have already been expanded to include both hydraulic and mechanical press capabilities. An abundance of opportunities within Mexico, and particularly within the Monterrey region, warranted the expansion of this facility by 62,000 square feet.  This expansion was completed in February, 2012 and our facility now encompasses over 100,000 square feet.
