Ice takes great pride in the capabilities of our Product and Process Engineering teams. Our Product Engineering group, led by Stan Pryba, consistently serves up solutions for our customers’ various product and tooling design requirements. We use various CAD technologies. Combined with their considerable metal forming, welding and assembly experience, this enables us to work collaboratively with customers – with the ultimate goal to save costs. The Ice team regularly works with customers on tooling design, tool build sourcing and management and value engineering projects.

Ice's Process Engineering teams, led by Rodney DeLong, are mobile and deployed throughout our locations to design, build and deploy process improvements. In addition to designing process equipment, we often fabricate machine improvements. Ice's Process Engineering teams are integral to providing process improvements for improved economics, while delivering upon exacting quality requirements. This skilled group’s experience includes in-die welding, poke yoke design and build, sensoring, controls, part and scrap handling, and weld fixturing amongst others. Troubled dies, difficult materials and difficult deadlines are no match for our Process Engineering team.
