Capabilities
Deerfield Manufacturing, located in Mason, Ohio near Cincinnati, has historically been focused on deep draw stamping. Although Deerfield continues to be a premier high-volume deep draw manufacturer, recent investments have considerably broadened our capabilities. The installation of a large-format, five-press tandem line has provided additional options for our customers. This new line-up includes one 900T and four 500T presses, capable of handling a variety of customer applications. Our multiple deep draw compressor shell lines operate with world-class efficiency. The Deerfield Manufacturing location serves primarily the HVACR, automotive and off-highway markets with deep drawn pressure vessels, vehicular side rails and cross members and transmission components.

History
Founded in 1948, Deerfield began as a screw-machine operation. Over the next
15 years, the company evolved into a metal stamping company after divesting the screw-machine business. In the late 1960s, Deerfield began stamping deep drawn compressor housings for the air-conditioning industry, in addition to trim parts for the automotive and appliance industries. By the mid 1990s, Deerfield Manufacturing had developed into a world-class manufacturer of deep drawn metal stampings, with two facilities and over 150 employees.

In February 2002, Ice Industries acquired Deerfield Manufacturing and with a change in management philosophy and a concerted effort improved quality systems and secured QS9000 and ISO/TS-16949 status.  Deerfield’s capabilities include tool building and fabrication, which provides additional value to our customers as they continually seek to improve their cost structure. Since Ice’s purchase in 2002, Deerfield Manufacturing has become a premier supplier to the markets it serves.
