At Ice, we deploy all purchased assets within our own operations and still own and operate all of the businesses we have purchased. Simply put, we are not a fund; we are operations people. And because we finance each acquired business independently or with our own equity, we have no requirement to sell a business within a pre-determined timeframe and are never forced to act on the short-term financial interests of a business.
